Interest Grows in Automating Manufacturing
As the end of the first quarter of the Automating Manufacturing programme nears, almost 40 automation reviews have taken place with many proceeding to intervention - the second stage of the automation review process.
The first two breakfast meetings have now taken place and a new programme of events will be announced in the new year. Breakfast meetings will take place up and down the country to enable companies to obtain a rapid overview of the benefits of automation without taking too much time out of the working day.
Mike Wilson Chairman of the British Automation and Robot Association said "we are delighted at the interest so far and look forward to meeting many more companies wishing to take advantage of the government funded review and explore how automation can improve productivity and create growth for their companies."
